Springtime at the Belanger’s, few hostas but 40,000 daffodils!
See 40,000 daffodils and a variety of conifers. The date is set for May 26th, even though Jerry warns us the blooms might not be as nice as last year. The daffodils have been cold.
Jerry mentioned a couple side trips that we might like: Marieke Gouda Holland’s Family Cheese and the Thorp fiberglass cows (http://cityofthorp.com/the-amazing-grazing-cows-of-thorp/) Places to eat include Marieke and the famed Thorpedo.
Directions: 7 miles north on Hwy 73, right on Shiner Dr. near the top of the big hill. (If you get to Bellinger you went too far, but hopefully, you’ll see some daffodils first.)
