SUMMARY:2023 Memorial Garden Weeding Morning
DESCRIPTION:The NWHS established and maintains the Dahl-Roeder Memorial Gar
 den in southwest corner of Wilson Park\, Menomonie\, WI.  With our inacti
 vity during COVID\, it has been years since we have had a cleanup day and 
 our lack of attention has resulted in the garden needing some major work.
   We are going to begin the revamp with a weeding day to try and get the 
 crabgrass under control followed in a few weeks with a garden overhaul day
  to tackle the maple roots and replant hostas.\n\nFor those who can make i
 t\, we plan to spend 2 1/2 hours weeding followed by a club sponsored lunc
 h.  Bring weeding tools\, bags for the weeds\, and perhaps a shovel and b
 room.\n\nWe appreciate Jan Harvey keeping this garden looking great over t
 he summer for years\, but with recent life events has not been able to kee
 p up with the invading maple roots and crab grass.\n\n
