A huge thank you to all who came to the memorial garden cleanup. Last fall the city re-poured the sidewalk and added two new benches inside the park next to our garden. Hostas are emerging and looking well and martagon lilies are over a foot tall. Jan is still working a section that was overtaken by quack grass so that area will be planted later. Cleanup followed the traditional pot luck with great food and yummy desserts. I think bags of leaves and debris would fill an entire pickup truck! Check back as I plan to post pictures of the garden taken later in the growing season.
